The Czech ice hockey team is representing the Czech Republic national ice hockey team internationally.
They are one of the most victorious national ice hockey teams in the world and one of the strongest members of the “Big Six” along with Canada, Sweden, Finland, Russia and the United States.

History of Czech Ice Hockey Team
In 1905, Ice hockey Czech was first introduced in Prague. After three years, the first national hockey clubs were created in Prague. In the same year, Czechoslovakia (former Bohemia) joined the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) becoming the second member. While Bohemia became Czechoslovakia after the First World War, it was rejoined with the IIHF under the name of Czechoslovakia in 1920.
In the 2006 Winter Olympics, they had won a bronze medal after beating Russia by 3–0 (roster) in the BMG. At the 2006 World Ice Hockey Championships, They won silver after losing to Sweden in the final.
