The Flag of Antigua and Barbuda was officially adopted on February 27, 1967. A competition was held for the design of the Flag of Antigua and Barbuda in which more than 600 local people entered. The winning design was taken for the national flag by nationally well-known artist and sculptor Sir Reginald Samuel. The Colors of The Flag of Antigua and Barbuda is Blue, Red, Yellow, White, and Black.

From 1632 Until formal independence was granted in 1981, Antigua and its neighbor Barbuda were British colonies.
