Khulna Titans is the new franchise of this season of BPL 2016. Australian coach Stuart Law has been signed the contract as the head coach of Khulna Titans and Kazi Emdadul Bashar Ripon was confirmed as the assistant coach.
The team has owned by Kazi Inam Ahmed, Managing Director of Gemcon Sports and was reestablished in 2016 after the Khulna Royal Bengals were erectile operation by the BPL for breaking rules.

The team was previously formed by the Orion Group as Khulna Royal Bengals and took part in the first two seasons of the tournament. The franchise was re-branded as Khulna Titans for the fourth season, after an entire change in the team ownership and management and Gemcon Sports holds the rights of this franchise this year.
