Thus, the identical experiences “weigh” different amounts. It’s as if we have the same experiences, and in order to evaluate them, we put them on a scale. The scale will then “weigh” each experience to determine its impact. That is, how “heavy” the experience is. But we don’t use the same scale to weigh the experience.
