@Fokhrul Islam Oscar Wilde means that people when they have to represent themselves, will not show who they really are. But when they can hide behind a mask they will show their true colors. I.E. People won't be themselves unless they can hide who they are. The mask is the safe asylum under which people lose all trepidation, they no longer risk being rebuked, judged, or looked down upon.
