Anchorage Is The Largest City Of Alaska. Anchorage is the most populated city in Alaska also. Anchorage is located on a peninsula in Alaska’s south-central portion and encompasses an area of 5,079.2 square km. The Largest City Of Alaska is a four-time recipient of the All-America City Award. Demographically, whites account for 66% of the city’s population, and English is spoken at home by 82.3% of residents. The major sectors of Anchorage’s economy are transportation, tourism, government, and the military.

Bettles Is The Smallest City Of Alaska With The Population Of 13 Citizen. Bettles is a city in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, United States. The city was founded in 1896 during the Alaska Gold Rush. The airstrip that serves the community was built in World War II and is now used for commercial air service. The Hickel Highway was used to transport equipment and supplies to the North Slope for oil exploration, and to build the Dalton Highway. The Smallest City Of Alaska Dalton Highway is now used as a truck route to the oilfields.

Ketchikan is Alaska’s southeasternmost city and the fifth most populated city in the state. The city had a population of 8,050 in 2010. Ketchikan was founded as a city in 1900 and is Alaska’s earliest extant city.
