Milk Is The Official State Drink of Kentucky. In 2005, the Kentucky General Assembly Designated milk as their State official Drink. The law Adopting milk as the official state drink is found in the Kentucky Revised Statutes, Title 1, Chapter 2, Section 2.084. Reasons offered for the designation included Kentucky State Drink Milk’s healthfulness, the desirability of encouraging milk consumption, and the importance of the dairy sector in Kentucky. The Legislation Of Kentucky did not specify a type or grade of milk, leaving it up to Kentucky to consume the variety of their choice. Kentucky State Drink Milk is a nutrient-rich, white liquid food produced by the mammary glands of mammals. State Drink of Kentucky Milk is the primary source of nutrition for infant mammals.

Early-lactation milk contains colostrum, which carries the mother’s antibodies to its young and can reduce the risk of many diseases and Improve Health Condition. State Drink of Kentucky Milk has been called a nearly perfect food – a source of protein, calcium, and several other important nutrients. Each dairy cow produces about 6.5 gallons of milk per day. There were 1614 dairy farms in Kentucky in 2002-2003, with a milk production value of $213 million; and the 2005 Dietary Advisory Committee has increased the recommendation for dairy foods from 2-3 servings in the 2000 Guidelines, to 3 servings of low-fat and fat-free dairy foods every day.
