The Florida Largemouth Bass Is The State Fish Of Florida. The Florida largemouth bass (Micropterus Salmoides Floridamus) was Design As the official state Freshwater Fish Of Florida in 1975. The Florida largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides floridanus) seems to grow to unusually large size in Florida waters.
